What you get for £99
A written report, in plain English, in your inbox.
Everything is written down so you can read it, sit with it, and share it if you want to. The four things you get, every time.
Front and back, plus any forms attached. Every letter you upload gets its own section in the report.
Who the creditor actually is, whether they've followed the rules, what your real options are, and the step-by-step approach that fits your situation.
From the moment we have everything we need. If anything is missing or unclear from your upload, we email you within one working day so we can proceed once you send it over.
Read the report, reply with anything you want clarified, and we come back within one working day. Included in your £99.

Is it right for you
A Letter Audit works well for some situations, and not others.
Honest guidance on when a Letter Audit is the right fit, and when something else will serve you better.
A good fit if you
- Have between one and four letters and you're not sure what they mean.
- Want a written record you can re-read and share, not a call.
- Are dealing with a UK creditor, debt collector, DCA, or a court letter (default notice, claim form, CCJ, statutory demand).
- Can upload the letters as a PDF or a clear photo.
- Are an individual, not a business, dealing with personal debt.
Probably not if you
- Have five or more letters or ongoing correspondence with multiple creditors. Full Support works out better value.
- Have a court hearing in the next seven days. Book a Clarity Call urgently instead.
- Want us to post and email letters on your behalf. That's Full Support.
- Chase business debts. See TRDG Commercial for B2B credit management.
What's not included
Where the £99 stops.
We keep the price low by keeping the scope tight. Here's what a Letter Audit does not include, so nobody is caught out.
The Letter Audit does not include:
- More than 4 creditor letters in one audit.
- Posting or emailing letters on your behalf (you send everything in your own name).
- A live phone or video call as part of the £99. This is a written deliverable only.
- Ongoing back-and-forth beyond the one included round of follow-up questions.
- Any form of regulated debt advice or representation. We are a UK debt information service, not a regulated firm.
Delivery and refunds
Clear on what happens if we don't deliver.
The Letter Audit is a written deliverable with a fixed price and a fixed turnaround. Here's exactly what you're covered for.
We aim to deliver every Letter Review and Action Plan by email within 2 working days of receiving your completed upload (working days are Monday to Friday, plus Saturday morning; UK bank holidays excluded).
If we haven't delivered by the end of the second working day: email info@therealdebtguy.com and we'll give you an update the same day plus a firm delivery time.
If your letters fall outside what the Letter Audit covers (or we're otherwise unable to deliver a report): full refund within 5 working days.
Once your Letter Review and Action Plan is delivered by email: the service is complete and no refund is available.
Cooling-off: at checkout you tick a box asking us to start immediately, which waives the 14-day cooling-off right. If you haven't ticked that box, or you cancel before uploading your letters, email info@therealdebtguy.com within 14 days for a full refund.
FAQ
Common questions.
What counts as a letter?
Anything sent to you by a creditor, a debt collection agency, a debt purchaser, a court, or an enforcement agent about a personal UK debt. That includes default notices, arrears letters, collection letters, DCA introduction letters, settlement offers, income and expenditure forms, CCJ claim forms, and statutory demands. If you're not sure, buy the audit and upload it. If it falls outside scope and we haven't started, we refund you in full.
What if I have more than four letters?
Two options. You can buy a second Letter Audit at £99 to cover another four. Or, if you have ongoing correspondence with multiple creditors, Full Support is usually the better-value route because it covers every letter and every reply for the whole engagement.
Will you call me?
No. A Letter Audit is a written deliverable only. If you'd rather talk it through, a 10-minute Clarity Call at £27.50 or a 30 or 60-minute Private Call is the right fit.
What does "within 2 working days" mean?
Working days are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, and Saturday 09:00 to 13:00. UK bank holidays do not count. Your two working days start once we have your Stripe payment and a complete upload. So an upload received Monday morning means your report lands by close of business Wednesday. An upload received Friday afternoon means your report lands by end of Tuesday. If we need something clarified before we can start, we email you within one working day and the clock continues from when you send the missing piece.
Is this regulated debt advice?
No. The Real Debt Guy is a UK debt information service, not an FCA-regulated firm. The Action Plan explains your options and the approach that fits your situation. You make every decision, and every letter goes out in your own name.
What's your refund policy?
See the Delivery and refunds section above for the full policy. Short version: refund in full if your letters fall outside scope or we can't deliver, no refund once your Letter Review and Action Plan has been delivered.
How do you handle my letters and my data?
Letters and personal information are handled in line with UK GDPR. Files are stored securely for the duration of the engagement and are deleted or anonymised after 12 months unless you become an ongoing client. See our privacy policy.
